We're not out of cold and flu season just yet. Don't let nasty cold and flu symptoms get you down. Make sure to stay healthy through the season with the dos and don'ts of cold and flu season. The vaccine can significantly reduce your risk of getting the flu this season. While the flu shot is safe for most people, double check with your doctor to make sure it's appropriate for your health needs. Do stock up on supplies. When you're feeling under the weather, the last thing you want to do is go to the store to pick up medicine. Make sure you have some over-the-counter medications to help ease symptoms. Also, be sure to have plenty of tissues, tea, and chicken noodle soup. Don't ignore the symptoms. Lots of ailments have similar symptoms, but that shouldn't mean that you belittle your symptoms. Be sure to keep in mind that cold and flu symptoms are very similar, but the flu seems to be a bit more severe. Look out for fever, chills, muscle aches, cough, congestion, runny nose, headaches, and fatigue.
